No CO2 pipelines! No eminent domain for private gain!

Upcoming meetings:

Join Iowa CCI members and others for local meetings in Mitchell County to learn how to protect the people and places we love from Summit's proposed CO2 pipeline! We’ll learn about the proposed CO2 pipeline project and policies that our County Supervisors can pass to protect our community.

Thousands of Iowans are concerned about proposed CO2 pipelines because they:

  • Are dangerous and potentially deadly– local communities aren't equipped to respond when a rupture happens

  • Would use over 3 billion gallons of our water each year, endangering our state’s aquifers and natural habitats

  • Use “technology” that’s consistently failed to reduce carbon emission, and that is why they’re a false climate solution

  • Tear up valuable farm ground, and destroy our land and soil

  • Put millions of dollars in the pockets of wealthy CEOs like Bruce Rastetter and leave us holding the bag
