Workplace
Giving:
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, you can designate
your gift to us if you give through United Way. Use the back of
your United Way pledge form to designate Iowa Citizens for Community
Improvement. If you do not receive a pledge form that allows you
to designate your gift, request this form from United Way or contact
mary@iowacci.org or (515) 282-0484 for more details.
A Gift Membership
Do you know someone who cares about the same things we do? Consider
giving them a year’s gift membership to CCI. They’ll
receive our newsletter and information about how they can be actively
involved. And, together, we’ll be that much stronger.
A Bequest
or Planned Gift
With your bequest or planned gift to Iowa Citizens for Community
Improvement, you’ll be helping Iowans fight for social, economic,

is CCI's Get It Done Club?
It's a pledge service that allows you to pre-authorize your monthly
sponsor gift to Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement.
How
does it help?
In today’s world, time and money are extra-precious commodities.
That’s why we now offer you the time-and-money-saving convenience
of direct giving. Through CCI's Get It Done Club, you:
- Make your donation go further by reducing
our administrative costs.
- Speed
up the time it takes to put your gift to work on behalf
of social, economic, and environmental justice for grassroots
Iowans.
- Save
yourself money by using fewer postage stamps and envelopes.
- Provide Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement
with a regular flow of funds, that help us to plan
better throughout the year; and
- Automatically
renew your membership each year.
And there are no bank fees associated with
the program - for you or us!
How does it work?
It’s as simple as completing
the form below authorizing your bank to transfer your monthly
contribution directly to CCI and sending it to us with a voided
check or deposit slip. Send to 2001 Forest Avenue, Des Moines, IA
50311.
When can
I enroll?
Right away! Just fill out
the form below and return it to CCI. An automatic transfer will
begin the month after you enroll.
How long does the option last?
The option lasts as long as you want
it to. If, at any time, for any reason, you would like to cancel
or alter your pledge, all you have to do is notify us in writing.
We’ll take care of it for you immediately.
What record will I have of my month’s
pledge?
Besides your monthly checking account
statement showing the date and amount of the transfer to CCI, we
will send you a year-end statement listing your contribution for
the year that you can use for tax purposes. Your contribution is
completely tax deductible.
