Join the CCI Fair Lending Task Force!
The CCI Fair Lending Task Force was established
over a decade ago by people who had experienced redlining and wanted
to do something about it. Using the Community Reinvestment Act,
members were successful in bringing banks to the table to develop
loan programs that fit the needs of older neighborhoods and made
specific dollar lending commitments to these neighborhoods.
Today the CCI Fair Lending Task Force continues
its mission of increasing reinvestment by monitoring bank lending
performance and helping banks develop unique lending programs. The
Task Force is made up of people who care and want to remain proactive
rather than reactive to fair lending in our community.
